FA Respect Code of Conduct – Adult Players
This Code of Conduct applies whenever I am representing Kidlington Football Club, including matches, training sessions, club events and travel to and from such activities.
As an Adult Player, I will:
Adhere to the Laws of the Game at all times.
Display and promote high standards of behaviour.
Promote Fair Play.
Always respect the decisions of match officials without dissent.
Never engage in public criticism of match officials.
Never engage in offensive, insulting, abusive, discriminatory or threatening language or behaviour.
Never engage in bullying, intimidation or harassment.
Speak to teammates, opponents, coaches, officials and volunteers with respect.
Be gracious in victory and defeat.
Shake hands with opponents and referees at the end of every match where appropriate.
I understand that if I do not follow this Code:
I may:
Be required to apologise.
Receive a verbal or written warning.
Be required to attend an FA education course.
Be substituted or not selected.
Be suspended from training or matches.
Be fined.
Be suspended or removed from the club.
In addition, the County FA or The FA may impose further sanctions, including fines or suspension.

I will:
Show respect to everyone involved in the game.
Place the wellbeing, safety and enjoyment of players above all else.
Encourage Fair Play and high standards of behaviour.
Respect match officials and promote this behaviour to players.
Never enter the field of play without referee permission.
Never engage in or tolerate offensive, abusive, or discriminatory behaviour.
Be aware of the impact of my behaviour and language.
When working with players, I will:
Never tolerate bullying or abuse.
Ensure activities are appropriate for age and ability.
Work in partnership with others in the best interests of players.
Follow safeguarding policies and report concerns appropriately.
Failure to comply may result in suspension, removal from role, FA disciplinary action, or licence withdrawal where applicable. [myclubpro....indows.net]

I will:
Remember that children play for fun.
Applaud effort and good play from both teams.
Respect the referee’s decisions.
Remain behind the touchline in designated areas.
Let the coach do their job.
Encourage players positively, not critically.
Never engage in or tolerate offensive, abusive or aggressive behaviour.
I understand that if I do not follow the Code:
I may be:
Issued with a verbal warning.
Required to leave the venue.
Required to meet the club or County FA Welfare Officer.
Suspended from attending matches or removed from the club.
The FA or County FA may also impose sanctions on the club if required
