Kidlington FC are delighted to announce our new reserves management team for 2022/23.
They will be jointly managed this season by previous reserves manager Nick East and Matt Stowell (pictured).
Matt started his career with the Reading Youth set up and also played for their reserve team. He then joined Slough Town in the summer of 1997. From there he joined Bristol City in June 1998 for a £15,000 transfer fee. He went out on loan to Wycombe Wanderers in February 1999, and to Yeovil Town in September 1999. He then moved to Rushden and Diamonds in December 1999 for a £30,000 fee. He was released by mutual consent in November 2001, and joined Hampton & Richmond Borough, before spells with Thame United in March 2002, and Henley Town the following season. He later emigrated to Italy to play for Vultur Rionero and then AS Trapani. He gained his UEFA ‘B’ coaching badge, and in the summer of 2006, became player / coach at Hellenic League side Milton United. After a break from the game he joined Holmer Green, where he was manager for a couple of seasons. He has been working recently with Oxford City U23s.
'Easty' needs no introduction to those familiar with the club. After taking a season out to recharge, he's looking forward to getting back in the dugout. Due to the re-allocation of teams by the FA, the reserves find themselves back in the Hellenic which is familiar territory for Easty, having got promotion into Division 1 in his first stint as reserves manager.
"Buzzing to get started, where's my phone !", was Easty's comment when asked for his first thoughts about returning to the helm.
Welcome and Welcome back to both from everyone involved at KFC !
