This Saturday we make the long journey to Hertfordshire to face top of the table Ware. Our hosts fell short last season and lost in the playoff final to North Leigh, so will be expected to fare better this season.

This Saturday we will look to build on our pleasing start of 5 wins and 1 defeat from the opening 6 games.

We caught up with joint manager Ben Sadler to get his thoughts....

The test we face this Saturday:

We know we face a side pushing for promotion and these are the games that we all look forward to. The pressure on teams who spend big will always be greater in Non-league football, and teams raise their game when playing the likes of Ware, Dunstable, Cirencester, Berko and probably Walthamstow are now added to that list. For us it's about consistency in everything we do and not getting too excited when we win, and too down when we lose.

Injury updates:

Everyone is fit and available for selection. We have 6 league games during October so it will be important to keep players fit and motivated.

Any potential new faces:

We are looking at one loan that we are trying to sort, which we feel will give us something a little different. Hopefully that will be sorted in a couple of weeks. We also missed out on a signing from North Leigh which was a shame, but we are not in a position to over spend, and I will always ensure that we operate within budget, if not under budget.
