Overview
Kidlington will look to turn these recent results around this weekend as they travel to face their fifteenth game of the season, away against Edgware & Kingsbury. An ideal way to get back to winning ways against a side who sit bottom of the table, but a injury-ridden side might tell you it's not going to be as easy as it might seem following a goalless draw Wednesday night.
The visitors looked the brighter in the opening half-hour, before improvement was vitally needed at the halfway point. Lewis Gabbidon was forced off just before the interval for yet another injury and replaced by Joey Aust. The second, Ned Nicolson-D'Abreu was also forced off and was replaced by Harry Firkin. In what was an eventful night for all the wrong reasons, despite a point at Yarnton Road, can Kidlington pick back up the form that they have stridden into the season with? Kidlington travel to the capital to face Edgware & Kingsbury this Saturday.
The visitors, having a tough opening start to the season, only picking up one points in eleven league games under Ray Dadzie, trying to pick up their first vital three points of the season as they welcome Kidlington to Edgware Road.
They will feel unlucky at times this season as The Wares lost their star, top goalscorer Lucas Miller as he joined Harefield as the season was upon beginning. Despite their start to the campaign, they have very promising players that Kidlington may have to keep an eye on, if the Greens are to take all three points back to OX5. S
amuel Adetiba & Youseef Enager have predominately been the attacking force in this 2025/26 campaign with both players on two goals out of The Ware’s overall eight goals this season. On the other hand, Ray Dadzie will have to have words with their defence, scoring the league’s least number of goals (8) whilst also conceding thirty-six goals in eleven games this season.
Despite that, Kidlington will still have to be cautious and focus on what they as a team need to do as they travel to Barnet this Saturday.
