After starting brightly The Greens began to lose their way and after a succession of corner kicks fell behind to an Ethan Moore header in the 25th minute After this goal the visitors to be on their toes to avoid going further behind.
However just before the break Lewis Coyle saw a good shot saved by home keeper Kevin Sawyer before Anaclet Odhiambo was denied a goal after being clean through, his shot deflected wide.
After the break Coyle saw a goal bound shot tipped over the bar before the first of Kidlington's substitutions were made. Roger James came on for Declan Benjamin who was starting his first match for 2 months.
James started to have an influence on the game almost immediately with his tireless running on the right flank.
In the event it was the hosts that came nearest to scoring when next when a wonderful snap shot from Moore cannoned off the cross bar in the 62nd minute.
Kidlington's better performance in this 2nd half was rewarded when Roger James lashed the ball home after he got on the end of a brilliantly taken free kick from Coyle, this goal coming in the 69th minute.
Shortly after this goal Darius Browne came on to replace Duran Martin and the tricky winger was soon weaving his magic on the left flank.
It was all Kidlington now and when Coyle and James combined the latter played the ball into the box to the unmarked Anaclet Odhiambo and he seized the opportunity to make it 2 - 1 to the Greens in the 79th minute.
The icing was put on the cake in the 87th minute. Once again Roger James was instrumental in providing the cross that found Darius Browne in space and Brown buried the ball into the back of the Evesham net for 3 - 1.
Kidlington had turned the tables in this one and it was by no means missed that the introduction of Roger James and more latterly Darius Brown was instrumental in achieving this good result. However overall it was an excellent team performance that brought us home the 3 points.
