Kidlington FC are back in cup action and once again they have been drawn to play away from home this time to Cirencester Town Development in the 1st round of the Hellenic League Challenge Cup Sponsored by Bluefin Sports Insurance.

In mid-week Kidlington got back to winning ways against Longlevens in a league game and ran out 4 - 1 winners. Kidlington's goals in this one were shared around a bit with Anaclet Odiambo netting a penalty, Lewis Gabbidon, Ryan Brooks and Anaclet's brother Eric netting the 4th.

The squad have now had a decent rest before they embark on this weeks set of fixtures with the first of these a trip to Cirencester this Saturday, k.o. 3:00pm. This will be followed up by yet another trip away at Holyport next Tuesday evening in the 2nd round of the Hellenic League Floodlit Cup Sponsored by Pepetua Press.

For the match with Cirencester this Saturday Kidlington will be without Brad Chalmers, Mark Flanagan & Tristian Laurence because on injury whilst Chris Blakely is serving the second game of a three match suspension and Ben Weedon is unavailable because of work commitments. Therefore Kidlington have added George Morris and Anton Munday to their squad.
