Kidlington beat a spirited Milton side 3 - 0 at Yarnton Road this evening.

Lewis Coyle was Kidlington's star of the show as Kidlington made it 3 wins on the bounce.
Coyle scored the 1st and had a hand in both Kidlington's other goals and even missed a penalty!
Kiddy went ahead in the 31st minute, but really should have been in front long before this. Coyle scored this goal after Tom Franklin won the ball and turned it on to Jack Quainton, Quainton laid it it accross square to Coyle who rifled a shot home from the edge of the box.
Before this goal chances were missed a plenty but at last Kidlington had their lead to settle any nerves.
Milton were playing their part by playing some decent football of their own during this first half though they seldom got sight of Kidlington's goal such was the home sides defensive prowess.
After this first goal Kidlington settled more and looked to control the match which they did, but without adding to the scoreline before half time.
The second half was only a couple of minutes old when Ryan Curtin had a chance to double their lead, but he couldn't covert when put clean through by Coyle, keeper Craig Griffiths turning his shot round the post.
Coyle was playing really well and set up Rob Johnson for a shot at goal at the far post, but the tricky winger got his attempt all wrong.
Only a couple of minutes later Coyle set him up again, this time with a perfectly flighted cross for a header at that same far post. This time Johnson latched onto it perfectly placing his headed attempt inside the far post giving the keeper no chance, 2 - 0 on 57 minutes.
Tommy Franklin was fouled in the box in the 72 minute and Kidlington were awarded a penalty, Coyle took it and surprisingly make a poor contact and Griffiths saved it.
Substitute Dennell Thomas put the icing on the cake with a début goal In the 84th minute. Thomas took possession of the ball after a sweeping Kidlington move, he was about 25 yards out and smashed a great shot into the top right corner of the goal. If you ever wanted to make an early impression on new team mates that's the way to do it.
Milton who had put up a good performance for about an hour were well and truly beaten, but it has to be said that Kidlington really let them off a bit lightly as the home side really should have had far more than the 3 goals they did net.
Kiddy now have no game this Saturday as Abingdon United are involved in the FA Cup, so next up it will be Wootton Bassett Town here at Yarnton Road next Tuesday, k.o. 7:45pm.
