Michael brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously played at Step Three of the football pyramid. He is a highly respected figure within the game and is well known to the club, having enjoyed a long association with Kidlington Football Club. Michael has also been a key contributor to our playing squad during the current season.

The club firmly believes that Michael’s experience, knowledge, and commitment make him the ideal person to lead the First Team forward.

On behalf of the Committee, the Trustees, and the Club Secretaries, we would like to wish Michael every success and the very best of luck for the upcoming season.

Club chairman, Alan Spence said on the appointment of Michael: 'I am delighted to welcome Michael into Team Management. His contribution to the team group through this season and his desire to move to the next step, enables the club to have continuity going forward. We all look forward to working with him and to see the whole group progress in to next season.'

Michael Hopkins on this appointment I am hugely grateful for the opportunity to become the First Team Manager for the upcoming season.

I would like to thank Brad for the foundations which he has established this year. I look forward to establishing a squad and management team looking to progress on this next season.
