On Saturday Kidlington travel to play Aylesbury United at Chesham FC, where they ground share, for an Evo-stik South One Central league match, kick off 3:00pm.

Last week The Greens put in undoubtedly their best performance of the season so far beating 5th placed side Cambridge City 2 - 0 at Yarnton Road. This result means it's back to back league wins for Julian McCalmon's side for the first time this season and sets them up nicely for this trip to play Aylesbury.

In last Saturday match Kidlington did all the damage midway trough the first half scorning twice in the space of 2 minutes, goals from Anaclet Odhiambo and Nick Thorne doing the trick. Leading scorer Odhiambo thought that he had increased Kidlington's lead a few minutes later, but some less than convincing officiating saw the goal ruled out for off side! The 3 points gained saw them draw level with North Leigh in the league table and if results go our way this weekend The Greens could even pull clear of the relegation zone for the 1st time this season.

During this mid-week the players have once again been working hard in training and McCalmon is pleased to report that their is a noticeable rise in the fitness levels of his squad.

Jack Quainton is back in the squad, whilst McCalmon is hopeful that one of his 7 day approaches is close to fruition, that being the case he may well have another new player available to him, more on that as and when the transfer has been completed by our honorable club secretary Dave Platt.
